A recent study looking at over 13 000 participants in the United Kingdom found a relationship between eating fruit and vegetables and mental health. In this study it was seen that the more fruit and vegetables eaten the higher the mental health and the less eaten the lower the mental well being. However, it did find that this relationship peaked at around 5 servings per day.
Just one more reason to enjoy a variety of fruit and vegetables, everyday!
