Did you ever have trouble eating sprouts or carrots? How about in a hamburger, I mean in the burger? Try this delicate burger full of vitamins and protein. It tastes great as a hamburger or by itself with tarter sauce.
Ingredients
5 dl. (2 c.) firm tofu, finely mashed
5 dl. (2 c.) alfalfa sprouts
½ onion, finely chopped
1½ tsp. salt
½ dl. (¼ c.) tahini
½ dl. (¼ c.) sunflower seeds, finely chopped or ground
½ dl. (¼ c.) shredded carrots
½ dl. (¼ c.) fresh, chopped parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
(½ tsp. sage or rosemary)
Instructions
Rinse the sprouts thoroughly and allow them to drain thoroughly. Shred the carrots and chop the onion finely. Mash the tofu with a fork. Mix all the ingredients well. Shape the burgers and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 175°C for about 20 minutes. Turn them over and bake another 20 minutes on the other side. Watch them so they do not burn. Serve in hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and dressing or with tartar sauce.
