Cashew Pear Cream

This sweet and creamy topping tastes great on fruit salad, pancakes, waffles, and even apple burritos!

 

Ingredients

2 dl. cashews

5 ripe pears, conference, peeled

1 t. vanilla sugar

1 – 2 T. sweetener

pinch of salt

 

Instructions 

Blend the cashews to a fine powder in a blender. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until very smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape the sides of the blender, occasionally.

 

Tip

You can also use 815g. canned pears, drained instead of the ripe ones. Add a little water (1 – 3 Tbsp.) to help the blender run and don’t add sweetener.
