20 dl (8½ c.) rolled oats
8 dl (3 1/3 c.) sunflower seeds
1 dl (½ c.) olive oil
1½ tsp real cinnamon
About 1 tsp salt
½ dl (¼ c.) honey
5 dl (2 c.) raisins
Preheat the oven to 150° C. In a large bowl combined the oats with the sunflower seeds. Add the oil and mix well to evenly distribute the oil. Add the cinnamon and salt, and mix again. Place on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 50 minutes.
Remove the müsli from the oven and place in a bowl again. Warm the honey over low heat, as needed to get a liquid that is easy to pour over the müsli. If the honey is heated above 60° C (140°F), enzymes in the honey are destroyed. Mix the honey with the müsli and add the raisins. The müsli is kept best in a paper bag.
